The best time of the year to go fishing in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, is during the dry season – December through April. The dry weather attracts many game fish to the Costa Rican waters. May through November is also an excellent time to go because it is the rainy season and the start of feeding frenzies within many gamefish communities.
